It’s no secret that mobile is shaping the way Australians communicate, work and interact.  The way we receive most of our information is now device-centric.

Workible has recently contributed to a report released by Deloitte that deals with how mobile is driving workforce participation and productivity.  It’s really interesting reading so we thought we’d share it with you.

With 80% of jobseekers under the age of 25 using mobile devices, being able to reach them with job-specific information – via mobile – is paramount and, with the development of the Internet of Things*, we’ll see even more connectivity around everyday activities.

That’s just one of the reasons Workible is a “mobile first” job solution.

*The Internet of Things (IoT) is the network of physical objects—devices, vehicles, buildings and other items—embedded with electronics, software, sensors, and network connectivity that enables these objects to collect and exchange data.
